Tonight I attended the inaugural Television Academy Honors that recognized television programs of the past year that have enlightened, educated, advocated and created awareness. "These programs prove that television can have a conscience, and can effect positive social change."
The evening started with a lovely cocktail party at the Beverly Hills Hotel, conversation with Hollywood's who who. I had a chance to meet power players from several networks...
We were then treated to a wonderful dinner, wine, delicious blue cheese salad, rare steak, salmon, and sweet dessert. Far from the usual rubber chicken dinner.
